DESCRIPTION
Multicultural Alliance Health Care Solutions (MAHCS) is seeking licensed clinicians (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) to conduct initial intake assessments (in-home evaluations) and/or comprehensive behavioral health assessments (CBHA) for clients in Broward County. The evaluations will take place mostly with children and adolescents as well as adults located in Broward County. Candidates must be willing to work on a fee-for-service basis and be open to working mostly during afternoon and evening hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Intake Assessor
Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations and provide the client with a clinical diagnosis
Complete biopsychosocial assessment, treatment plan, CFARS/FARS, and progress notes following Medicaid standards
Submit completed documentation online in a timely manner
CBHA Assessor
Conduct clinical interviews of the child, biological parents, current care providers, teachers, relatives, and other relevant historians
Conduct a review of the child welfare and academic files
Complete observation of the child within the home and school environments
Conduct Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths ratings for the child, biological parents, and caregivers
Administer the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL)
REQUIREMENTS
Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy/Education (MSW, MHC, MFT)
Licensed in the State of Florida as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT
Bilingual: Haitian Creole, Spanish, or Portuguese (Preferred, but not required)
At least 1 year experience with completing evaluations and diagnosing clients
